Imprint South Africa has officially unveiled its first-ever exclusive pop-up store at the Mall of Africa in Johannesburg, opening on February 4, 2026. This bold move invites fashion lovers to step directly into the brand’s signature world—where African heritage meets unapologetic modernity, and every piece tells a story worth wearing.
Marking a standout milestone in its 10-year journey, Imprint—founded by self-taught visionary Mzukisi Mbane—continues to redefine African luxury. Fresh from a powerhouse 2025 that saw collections grace runways in Paris, Shanghai, New York, and Cape Town, the label has cemented its status as a global trendsetter. Mbane’s designs fuse bold prints, intricate storytelling, and Afro-futuristic elegance, consistently setting the pace that others chase.

The pop-up, located at Shop 2117, Level 5, Crystal Court, Entrance 20 (The Sook space, near Tommy Hilfiger and Lacoste), runs until February 12, 2026. It offers an immersive retail experience packed with signature ready-to-wear, accessories, and limited-edition drops that let you leave your own mark. The launch drew A-list energy, with celebrity guests, stylish turns on the red carpet, and an electric vibe that perfectly captured Imprint’s magnetic pull.
Trendsetter, founder/Creative Director, and self-taught designer Mzukisi Mbane was widely recognised for his contribution to fashion and culture. Late last year, Trendsetters Only had the opportunity to interview at a Local fashion police event where he described his ambitious goal to keep taking local fashion globaly.
For those ready to own a piece of the narrative that’s reshaping African fashion on the world stage, this limited-run store is the moment. Head to Mall of Africa and make your imprint—before it’s gone.
