Held in May, Australian Fashion Week 2026 brought five days of runway shows across Sydney, from rain-soaked boardwalks to heritage homes and harbour-side galleries. Standout moments included Carla Zampatti’s closing show in the rainfall, Aje’s pink takeover of The Lands by Capella, and Ngali’s powerful final day presentation at the MCA. Across the week, designers focused on strong silhouettes, thoughtful storytelling and clothes with lasting impact.

On the 17th and 18th of March, the Buy Local Summit & Expo, offered a powerful platform to showcase the creativity and innovation of South Africa’s homegrown businesses. Designers, artisans, and industry leaders gathered under one roof, not only to showcase their work but to reaffirm a shared vision; that local is not a limitation, but a launchpad.

Lagos Fashion Week celebrated its 15th anniversary this year with its biggest and boldest edition yet. The five-day event drew more than 15,000 guests and featured over 60 designers on the official schedule. What began in 2011 as Omoyemi Akerele’s vision to champion African creativity has evolved into the continent’s most influential fashion platform.
